Morris 51

>> Morris 51

The exciting Morris 51 is the single example of Paine's Bermuda Series of high-speed, offshore cruising designs available as a semi-custom yacht. As experienced sailors know, the Paine Bermuda Series represents the world's fastest and safest offshore cruising yachts, combining moderate draft, superb performance, and the ability to be easily handled by a couple. Like all Morris yachts, the 51 is hand-built to the world's highest standards using high-tech materials and processes, with customization for each owner.

Having owned a series of ocean sailing boats for the past twenty years, Bob Trenary has a long resume of blue water passages under his belt. He is the leader of this expedition and, with his wife Jane, owns and maintains HOMEFREE, a state of the art Chuck Paine designed Morris 51 launched in 2004.

The “open” style interior is enhanced by beautifully fitted and finished gloss varnished cherry with
white New England style bulkheads.

The forward owner’s cabin has a large double berth with a private en suite head and shower. The optional hard dodger provides protection from the elements yet allows complete access to sail controls and offers 360 degree views.
