Eleven-Eleven has been lovingly owned and maintained by two meticulous owners. She has been continually upgraded, including the following (most recently) by her current owner: 30hp Yanmar diesel engine, dodger, cockpit enclosure, radar, and many systems. The boat has the very desirable "B" layout that gives a substantial head for a boat this size, and a spacious main cabin. Eleven-Eleven is surely one of the nicest Cape Dory 30's around.
Exterior Finish
Eleven-Eleven's hull is awlgripped white (2001) and has a blue cove stripe and boot top. The deck also has been awlgripped in traditional Cape Dory white with tan non-skid. All exterior teak is high gloss varnish in very good condition. There are protective canvas covers for the cockpit coamings and dorade boxes.
Accomodations
Starting forward is the head area which includes a marine head (with holding tank), hanging locker forward, vanity w/stainless steel sink, hot & cold pressurized water, and shower. The main cabin consists of a port and starboard settee. The port berth extends out to form a double bunk. On the starboard bulkhead is a Dickinson coal burning cabin heater. On the centerline of the cabin, aft of the mast, is a drop leaf table. On the starboard side aft, is a chart table combined with a quarterberth bunk. To starboard is a large, "U" shaped galley.
Interior Finish
The cabin is finished in beautiful oiled teak combined with ash ceiling strips against the hull outboard of the berths. The sole is varnished teak and holly. Tasteful cushions and curtains (2006) complete the warm feel to the cabin. A Weems and Plath clock with matching barometer and hygrometer, and two oil lamps finish off the main cabin.
