34’ Able Marine Custom Sloop/Cutter

An elegant and comfortable cruising cutter designed by Chuck Paine and custom built by Able Marine. She was built with a taller sheer to provide additional headroom without hurting her lines. Current owners have added a removable false floor in the galley area. Her transom was extended 2' to provide additional storage in the lazarette. Electric furling mainsail, electric primary winches, electric windlass, and a full compliment of electronics make her a joy for comfortable cruising shorthanded.
Accommodations: Cherry interior. V-berth (with filler) in the forward cabin, chest of drawers aft to starboard. Reading lights on bulkheads on both sides. Head enclosure next aft with stainless sink in vanity counter, hand-held shower, storage locker and Groco head (new 2004) with holding tank; cedar lined hanging locker opposite. In the main cabin there is a single settee berth to port with book shelf outboard above and short settee to starboard with full length pilot berth above. Drop leaf cherry table on center. The galley has a stainless sink and ice chest with Sea Frost refrigeration and freezer boxes. These are aft to starboard with stove, stainless three burner Force 10, and very large quarterberth opposite to port. There are numerous bins and lockers outboard of the galley counter, for equipment and supplies. The counter serves well as a chart table.
