After 45 years of service, the Coast Guard Academy is replacing its fleet of Luders 44. Morris Yachts was chosen to be the builder of the new Leadership 44. Come learn about this exciting project and the Coast Guard’s mission to train and develop future officers. The talk will be held Saturday, March 20 at 11am during the annual Maine Boatbuilders Show in Portland, Maine. While there don’t forget to stop by and see our guys from Morris Service and Brokerage! This show is a sure sign of Spring!

Cold and windy conditions but plenty of sun too. The location of the Shake a Leg Sailing center was ideal for our event, and the folks running the facility are extremely helpful. Cuyler Morris, President of Morris Yachts, was pleased to accept yet another Boat of the Year Award. This time the award is for the new M52. The M52 won Cruising World Magazine’s Boat of the Year Bristol Award, rarely given out and only when a boat cannot be categorized but exceeds expectations and demands to be recognized. The company was notified on Tuesday, December 15th.

Charles "Charlie" William Morris was born at 20:48, Monday, October 26 and weighed in at 8'14" and was 23 inches long! Word has it that his feet were almost too big for the ink pad!
