Morris Yachts chosen by the U.S. Coast Guard
The U.S. Coast Guard Academy chose Morris Yachts to build eight new cadet-training vessels for Cadet Sail Training at the Academy. Morris won the contract after a nine-month proposal process and was selected over several other prestigious yards including Goetz, Hinckley, Pearson and Tartan. The eighth and final yacht is to be delivered this year in 2012.
