Greenwich Harbor Yacht Showcase

This exclusive event will be held at the Delamar, a small luxury hotel in the heart of Greenwich, CT.

The American delivery crew of Sales Manager Eric Roos and Marketing and PR Director Marnie Read flew to Benodet France on Wednesday, September 3 to pick up the boat and hoped to complete the 280nm trip to Southampton in five days to make their move time of Tuesday afternoon. It was not to happen.

Cuyler Morris, President of Morris Yachts announced the latest addition to their M-Series line today. Morris Yachts’ M29, designed by Sparkman & Stephens, is intended for short or single-handed sailing. Hull 1 will be launched in February.

Morris Yachts is pleased to be showing the M36 for the first time at the UK’s Southampton Boat Show. Not new to the European boat show circuit, the firm has shown in Düsseldorf for the past two years and showed in HISWA last fall and has been patiently waiting their turn on the SBS waiting list. Members of the Morris sales team will fly to Brittany, France to sail M36 Philovent II around the coast of France and across the Channel to Southampton.

Cuyler Morris President of Morris Yachts announced today that launch of Circe, the custom Morris 57 will be celebrated at the Morris Service yard in Northeast Harbor on Thursday, August 28th. The construction of this stellar yacht was the collaboration of New England’s finest marine establishments – the boat was designed by Fontaine Design Group, of Portsmouth, RI; the hull, deck and structural bulkheads were constructed by Goetz Custom Boats, of Bristol RI and the interior, paint and rigging was completed by Morris Yachts. Construction of the hull tooling began in November 2006 at Goetz. The hull was delivered to Morris on August 2007 and the deck arrived in November 2007.
