Morris Yachts is pleased to be showing the M36 for the first time at the UK’s Southampton Boat Show. Not new to the European boat show circuit, the firm has shown in Düsseldorf for the past two years and showed in HISWA last fall and has been patiently waiting their turn on the SBS waiting list. Members of the Morris sales team will fly to Brittany, France to sail M36 Philovent II around the coast of France and across the Channel to Southampton.

Cuyler Morris, President of Morris Yachts is pleased to announce that Prentice Weathers has joined the Morris sales team. Prent joins the growing sales team that includes Eric Roos, Wythe Ingebritson and James Allen. Prent has more than 25 years in the marine industry.

Gary Jobson will preview what to watch for in sailing at this summer’s Olympic games; and he will give a overview of the Americas Cup Racing and the Volvo Ocean Race. We will also be one of the first to see parts of his new feature on Antartica.

Back by popular demand Denny will amuse us with tales from the high seas.

Was it her sexy underbody or graceful movements that attracted over 17 Humpback whales just off the coast of Provincetown, MA on July 11th, while Morris yachts Sales Manager Eric Roos and his brother-in-law Kevin and nephew Benjamin delivered the most recently completed Morris M36; hull # 51 to Nantucket?

Morris GM Will Ratcliff co-hosted a jolly dinner with Morris Owner Conrad Hall at the Waterloo House to celebrate the skippers and crews of Morris Yachts, Able Apogee’s and other friends of Morris Yachts who participated in the race.

Morris Yachts will host the fourth annual Morris Boat Show at their service yard in Northeast Harbor, Maine, July 18-20. Open to the public, this event will showcase dozens of Morris Yachts on the docks and in the sheds.

The Morris-built, Fontaine designed custom 57-foot sloop was launched on Thursday June 26th in Trenton, Maine. She was motored around to Bass Harbor where she will be painted, and rigged. She is yet another example of Morris custom boatbuilding.

“LA NICHE”, a Morris 38 (1997), is for sale by a knowledgeable world wide sailor. “URSA NIGRA”, a Morris Justine 36 (1989) is a lovely tri-cabin Justine which has been excellently maintained and shows extremely well.
