Morris GM Will Ratcliff co-hosted a jolly dinner with Morris Owner Conrad Hall at the Waterloo House to celebrate the skippers and crews of Morris Yachts, Able Apogee’s and other friends of Morris Yachts who participated in the race.

Morris Yachts will host the fourth annual Morris Boat Show at their service yard in Northeast Harbor, Maine, July 18-20. Open to the public, this event will showcase dozens of Morris Yachts on the docks and in the sheds.

The Morris-built, Fontaine designed custom 57-foot sloop was launched on Thursday June 26th in Trenton, Maine. She was motored around to Bass Harbor where she will be painted, and rigged. She is yet another example of Morris custom boatbuilding.

“LA NICHE”, a Morris 38 (1997), is for sale by a knowledgeable world wide sailor. “URSA NIGRA”, a Morris Justine 36 (1989) is a lovely tri-cabin Justine which has been excellently maintained and shows extremely well.

Wythe Ingebritson, James Allen and Marnie Read left the great state of Maine for a weekend in Newport to attend the Luxury Yacht and Exotic Car Show at Brown & Howard Wharf in Newport, Rhode Island.

Cuyler and his family will set sail from Maine on June 15th for the Great Lakes to race the 100th Anniversary of the Chicago Mackinac Race!

Morris 4806 Barra was christended at Morris Yachts Northeast Harbor yard on May 1. The 48-foot Ocean Series Yacht was the first boat launched in the company’s new travel lift pit in Bass Harbor that was widened and lengthened by Prock Marine to accommodate Morris Service’s new 50-ton travelift. The owner of Barra and his family plan to cruise and participate in offshore racing. The first event is the Newport Bermuda Race. From there the boat will sail to Scotland then travel down to the Canary Islands for the 2008 ARC race to the Caribbean. read full text
